New Home and Gorgeous Scarf

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged, because we’ve been moving home!  I’m now sitting on the sofa in the living room of our new flat, a lovely one bed flat in a village called Bramley near Guildford, Surrey.  It’s a lovely sunny flat in a quiet road with fields and trees behind.  It feels like such a blessing to be able to live here, compared to the tiny, dark, damp flat we’ve moved from.  I’m surrounded by boxes, will be unpacking those slowly over the next few weeks.  The stress of the move has taken it’s toll and I won’t be rushing to unpack.

I’ve not been able to do much knitting during the last few weeks, but did manage to make a scarf and matching brooch out of this wool handdyed by Spinning Streak (click on the photo to go to her gorgeous shop) – I can’t wait to show you the scarf and brooch I made!  I will be listing them soon once I get time to take some photos!

I’ve also got big plans for some exciting projects, so keep an eye out for those, especially if you like lacy wraps and gorgeous yarns!  It’s going to be a great autumn and winter, I’m so looking forward to making lots of lovely things!  Feel free to let me know if you have any ideas of things I should be making or colours I should use, or if you want anything special made just for you!

You can see photos of my new home on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/thesequinnedsheep – I will upload photos showing it after we’d decorated soon!  The photos on there at the moment are before/during decorating.
